Autoarchiving of logs in FF

Hi,

There is a requirement of testing the auto archiving of log function in FF. Can some one guide me on the method of testing the same.

Hello Vani,

The Firefighter logs are generated with respect to the background jobs scheduled. If you have scheduled a background job with frequency set as every 1 hour then to test it just perform some Firefighter activity and go to front end and simply execute Log report or Log summary Report and check if it shows the last activity performed by firefighter users.

Other way to do is executing log report from backend virsa tool /n/virsa/vfat , just go to log report butoon or press f5 and click on execute without making any selection, or press f8.

you will get the full system log report, it will take some time to generate the report depending upon your firefighter application usage.
