Also what would be the best approach to learn SRM . I have MM background.

I am on a project that is implementing SRM in May. The company has decided to upload 15 Vendors for Services and to perform the goods receipts in order to achieve a 3 way match. One of the Vendors (Huge Spend) will not get a goods receipt performed as no one wants to perform the goods receipt (this was just decided yesterday). We will create the shopping cart and SRM PO and pay the invoices in R/3. In order to do this we have to enter the shopping cart as a material in order not to have a goods receipt performed in SRM (as I am told). Has anyone ever experienced this? Is there any problems that we, as a company, may not be aware of Is there someone out there that has experienced this or close to this? Please advise. Thanks

Pls. open new thread for new querry. For you the one way to handle is Ex Classic Scenario.

Create Shopping Cart(SRM)--> Craete PO (SRM) --> Create Goods REcpt/ Service Entry Sheet(R/3) ---> Invoice (R/3)

Hi All,

I have posted an invoice in the EBP system and tried to cancel it.It gives a message "Invoice cannot be cancelled".I know for sure Invoice can be cancelled.That is what the button is there for.

Could somebody please advice.

1)created a PO/ non PO based Invoice and posted it

2)Put it in the dispaly mode

3)The cancel button shows up

4)Clicked on the cancel button

5)The system throws an error saying "Invoice cannot be cancelled"

For Individual objects such as SC, PO, Confirmation for errors and more details use transcation BBP_PD by inputing the object id.
