Need help for configuring integration scenario for AII

Former Member

Hi,

We are referring to "RFID-Enabled Outbound Processing: Configuration Guide" for transferring materials from ECC to AII through XI.

So far we have been successful sending the IDOC to XI.

When we display the XML message in XI using IDX5, we get the error message "No receiver could be determined".

I request you to help us with the configuration of the integration scenario in XI.

Regards.

Gaurav

Problem can be related to Interface Mapping also.

Hello Gaurav,

The steps involved in the part are:

Maintaining XI Directory configuration

u2022 Generate business scenario using business scenario configurator

u2022 Creating a scenario

u2022 assigning business systems

u2022 creating communication channels

u2022 defining receiver determinations

u2022 defining interface determinations

u2022 defining receiver agreements

Please check if your configurations are done or the configurations are proper.

Hi Yogesh,

Thanks for reply.

Maintaining XI Directory configuration

u2022 Generate business scenario using business scenario configurator

u2022 Creating a scenario

It is fine upto these two steps

u2022 assigning business systems

We have assigned "AII" business system

only (receiver)

u2022 creating communication channels

Following parameters are set for comm channel

Adapter type: HTTP

Configured as Receiver

Transport Protocol: HTTP: 1.0

Message Protocol: XI payload in HTTP Body

Adapter engine: Integration server

Addressing type: URL Address

Target host: <name of AII system>

Service number: <service no>

path prefix: /sap/xi/engine?type=entry

u2022 defining receiver determinations

u2022 defining interface determinations

u2022 defining receiver agreements

All these were generated automatically

Are these configurations alright?

Hello Gaurav,

Configurations look alright. And since there is no more configurations in SAP XI that need to be done, it looks a problem in SAP AII.

Just check in the HTTP services part that the services for the XI engine have been activated and the External Alias has been maintained.

The steps are:

--> Activate HTTP services

Activate the following HTTP services

public=>icman

scm->ain

scm->ain_echo_test

xi->engine

-->To XI engine, add ICF object , e.g. engine_ai1_500

--> Then in Alias tab, select XI-> engine

--> Then Choose External Aliases,

Select default_host and choose then Create New External Alias.

Create the new external alias /sap/scm/ain.

On the Trg Element tab page, select default_host u2192 sap u2192 scm u2192 ain.

Give user: CDIALEREMOTE and password.

I hope this helps.

HI Yogesh,

--> Activate HTTP services

Activate the following HTTP services

public=>icman

scm->ain

scm->ain_echo_test

xi->engine

All these services are already active. But when I tested some (XI-> engine) of these services they show some errors. shown below.

- <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">

<SAP:Category>XIProtocol</SAP:Category>

<SAP:Code area="MESSAGE">URL_PIPELINE_NOT_FOUND</SAP:Code>

<SAP:P1>/sap/xi/engine?sap-client=001</SAP:P1>

<SAP:P2 />

<SAP:P3 />

<SAP:P4 />

<SAP:AdditionalText />

<SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />

<SAP:Stack>Pipeline ID , which is expected as value of attribute "type" in the URL, does not exist in the Integration Engine (URL = /sap/xi/engine?sap-client=001)</SAP:Stack>

</SAP:Error>

-->To XI engine, add ICF object , e.g. engine_ai1_500

Can you please elaborate on this. I mean what are the steps. Do I need to create an ICF object. IF yes where and how?

Hello Gaurav,

@Creation of ICF object - I am not very aware of this, but what i know is you will need to create a service reference pointing to sap --> xi --> engine service.

I hope you solve your problem soon. Just let me know if still problem persists. I will also find out more on this.
