Hi,

1. You will have to activate web services

Use Tcode : SICF --> Right click on DEFAULT_SETTINGS --> Click on activating services --> Click yes.

2. Check your hostname full qualified address name is added or not into instance profile parameters list.

ie icm/host_name_full = your hostname with full address and also domain.

3. now you can try for sap using IE.

ie http://<hostname>:port/

Hi Arpit,

You can open SAP in browser as said by Yamini if you SAP BASIS is of release 640 and if you BASIS release is of 620 and less than that i.e, if u r SAP is R/3 4.7 or prior ot it then you have to externally install the ITS for opening SAP in browser because from release 640 onwards ITS in integrated.

Open the neccesary incoming/outgoing port in your company's WAN router and redirect the port to SAP server via Special AP or Virtual Server functions depening on your router type..

Hi,

but can you tell me which services i have to activate --> IF you want all services,

you can activate all.

OR you can ask for BASIS team.

what domain and host name i have to specified.

Ask BAsis team.

Otherwise, Domain = http://<hostname>.<your comapny url>:port or simply give

http://<your IP address or host name of your SAP server>:port/
