Mass Generation of standard SAP roles

IS there a way to generate & Activate SAP standard roles in mass. We want to generate and activate following standard SAP roles so that we do not have to go through them manually for authorization changes.

Use the mass generation program - SAPPROFC_NEW.

Hint: Go to PFCG -> Utilities -> Mass Generation

Play around with options presented.

One wonders why would you want to generate (and use) SAP standard roles, but since that's a different topic altogether I will not address it here.

We are implementing PP module. So instead of creating custom roles now we want to activate all standard roles first so that consultant can start config. We'll define custom roles later for PP business transactions later.

Don't think the consultant will be able to config with those roles. None of them appear to have config access - just PP functional.

Note- SAPPROFC_NEW - is the same program that was given in the path.

Dev,

It is possible to generate roles using PFCG or PFUD up to a extent of choosing 8 per a time and it won't accept more than that. So please check with it before proceeding in this issue.

It is advisable not to use SAP predefined roles, rather than using customized roles.

How do you generate 8 roles at a time (or even just one) from transaction PFUD?

I don't see any such option in pfud which can mass generate roles.

Although it can be done using SUPC (Program : SAPPROFC_NEW), where mass roles can be generated by copying from clipboard.

you can use t code:SUPC for mass generation of profiles for roles.
