copy script from one client to another

Hi,

I have to copy scrpit frm one client to another and for this i am going through following steps.

SE71>UTILITIES>COPY FROM CLIENT.

and after entering all the values i am getting the following error

"Changes to Repository or cross-client Customizing are not permitted".

check in which system ru in and what value have you specified in source client... The clients should be in same environment...
