Test Message in Runtime Workbenck is present in Integration Engine as well as Adapter Engine.
In which case we need to go with Adapter Engine >Test Message and in which case we need to go with IE>Test Message

Hi,
You can copy that xml file of that SOAP and send it through IE in RWB as mentioned in the Above blog
OR
Download the SOAP Test Tool and use this to send the data to XI

Hi,
The Purpose of this Test Message through RWB is to Bypass the Adapter intervension and send the message directly to Integration Server.
If you observe in the IE the URL points to XI's ABAP Stack means this message will goto XI's IS directly.
If you observe in the AE the URL points to XI's JAVA Stack means this message will not goto IS .this is not points to IS.

Hi,
When u send any message thr Test Messages tab in Component Monitoring tab of RWB:
That Message directly goes to Integration Engine.
U can use it only for test purpose.
Suppose for Example U r doing File to IDOC scenario.
Then to test whether ur scenario is working u can paste ur payload here N run the scenario.
Thanks,
Mahi
Hi ,
The message flow in XI is :
Sender-> sender adapter -> Integration Engine->receiver adapter->Receiver
1.IE test message is to send a msg directly to the Integration engine from RWB . So there is no role of sender adapter here.
The message flow starts from :
Integration Engine->receiver adapter->Receiver
2.AE test message can be used in cases :
When a message reaches till the receiver adapter successfully and when the receiver adapter tries to send the message to the receiver but it couldnt send the data due to a foreign key constraint or connection reset or some problem .At tat time (when the msg fails at the adapter level ), u can use AE test messages to send the data back to the receiver.
