PXA_NO_FREE_SPACE despite correct profile parameter abap/buffersize

Hi,

i'm encountering above error when i'm doing MIGO (Goods receipt for purchase order) on ECC 6.0.

in ST02 transaction upon double-clicking on swaps for PROGRAM row (red colored column) it informs me that allocated size is 150000 KB and available as 144,280 KB, used as 143,171KB and free as 1,109 KB.

However when i checked the abap/buffersize parameter in RZ11 , parameter value is 551,000 ...but both 'Unsubstituted and substituted standard values' are 150000 and i'm not able to change this 150000 value...

should not system pick parameter value instead of substituted value ? can we change this instead ?

thanks in advance

Hi,

Have you restarted the instance after changing the parameter ? (It is not dynamic)

In RZ11 it should show the default value, profile value and the current value. The current value is what is currently being used, what is yours ?

its suprising to see different values in RZ10 & RZ11 for same parameter....

in rz11 value is showing 150,000 where as in rz10 it is showing 510,000.....

As Nelis mentioned system is taking from rz11.....

Im not able to change value in rz11 despite the transaction description says 'Maintian parameters'! I tried with SAP * and and admin user id with no luck!

any means of changing this please?

As I mentioned before it's not a dynamic switchable parameter so you will not be able to change it using RZ11 - There will be no "Change Value" button. If you use a dynamic parameter eg rdisp/max_wprun_time then you will see a "Change Value" button appear to change the value in RZ11. For non-dynamically switchable parameters you must use RZ10 to change and restart the instance.
