No Data Display in END-TO-END Monitoring (PMI) Problem

Hi,

In XI 3.0 SP 20, in End-to-End Monitoring doesn't show data...

I checked thase steps already, is anyone know some other configuration ???????

1) Run report RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES services of the Internet Communication Framework are activated

2) In the Runtime Workbench -> Configuration monitoring is switched on.

3) Check in the Runtime Workbench -> End-to-End Monitoring -> Further Settings if there are any errors reported in the tab "Error Messages"

4) Check in transaction SM37 if the required jobs run without problems.

Display the Job Log of each of the following jobs:

- SPI_TRANSPORT

- Job with the job step SPI_PS_ASSEMBLE_DSP (use the field ABAP program

name in the selection screen of SM37)

- SPI_REORG_CS

- SPI_REORG_PS

If the jobs are not carried out at all, the monitoring was not switched on

(see step 2).

5) Check in transaction SPIP if there were any errors reported in the

Application Logs. Select "Logs of All Process Types" or restrict it to the

Process Type "XI domain domain.<sysnr>.<host> ...".

6) Check if the PMI monitoring of the Integration Server is switched off.

To do so, enter transaction SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration ->

Specific Configuration. Look for the entry of category MONITOR with the

parameter PMI_MONITORING. It should be set to 1. If the parameter is not

displayed, the default value of 1 is used.

7) In some cases the amount of data to be monitored was too high. Try if

reducing the monitoring level solves your problem. There are two places to

reduce the amount of displayed data: A) Go into Runtime Workbench ->

Configuration and set the Monitoring Level to "Low". B) Adjust the

parameter settings in Runtime Workbench -> End-to-End Monitoring -> Further

Settings -> tab "Details" as described in note 844559. You have to switch

the monitoring off to be able to change the settings. After the settings

are changed, switch the monitoring on again and allow the jobs a few

minutes to collect the data.

Hi,

A destination pointing to the Integration Server is created on the J2EE engine to collect the data for the end-to-end monitoring. If this destination is incorrect or if there are several clients in the system of the integration server, the data may be sent to the incorrect client.

This might be a reason so you can implement the correction of the destination in a manual way as follows:

Open the J2EE visual administrator.

Select the Destination service.

Select the HTTP "pmistore" destination.

Enter the URL for the ICF service spi_gate of the Integration Server in the following form "http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/spi_gate?sap-client=<xxx>", where 'host' denotes the host of the integration server, 'port' denotes the HTTP port, and xxx is the client of the Integration Server.

Thanks,

Hi, Hemant

Thanks for reply

For testing purpose I am working in XI - DEV system end-to-end monitoring, anyway!

I done that setting in Visual administrator in HTTP "pmistore" destination

I checked ICF services activacted spi_gate

In visual admin, looks ok, but SYSTEM ID, SYSTEM NO. and LANGUAGE was empty: I fill it out all information

Restart Server DEV

Checked RFC connection as well: works fine... CentralMonitoringServer-XIAlerts

Go back to End-to-End monitoring same does't show data in there....

NOTE: I THING I WANNA DISCUESS WITH YOU

When I goto RWB (Configuration) in configuration of domain

Component type is activated and monitoring level "Medium" Send & Received are checked mark

but I have one messages under blow:

No ports that send to the Integration Server could be found for the following ALE logical systems:<br>QACLNT200: Unable to log on to system NQA in language en with user XIRWBUSER DEVCLNT300: Neither the messager server nor the application server can be reached for system DEV SBCLNT400: Unable to log on to system SB in language en with user XIRWBUSER Z_WMS: Unable to log on to system PRD in language en with user XIRWBUSER SBXCLNT540: Neither the messager server nor the application server can be reached for system SBX DEVCLNT300: Unable to log on to system DEV in language en with user XIRWBUSER PRDCLNT600: Unable to log on to system PRD in language en with user XIRWBUSER

Do you know any ohter setting for that....
