Invoke CIC0 from an external program ...

Hi, my client asked for the possibility of using an external plataform developed for their Call Center and by the time they run an specific transaction with the number of the business partner, they would like to invoke and automatically open an window with the CIC0 transaction with the partner number fullfilled.

The logon to the SAP system has already been made.

Does anyone have a "light" idea of how this can be made, and if it´s possible ????

Hi Jose,

I see 2 solutions to your issue:

First is to create an RFC function to call the CIC0 with the Business Partner. That would give the user a new window with CIC0 with the BP code already filled in. Talk with an ABAP programmer and he/she could give you an complete solution for this.

Second is based on SAP Portal. If you have SAP Portal in your landscape you can make a call from Portal to the CIC0 transaction either directly or through and RFC function. You should have your external application integrated in the SAP Portal too.

If you alreadyfound another solution just let us know what is it.

It is definitely possible to call CIC0 from external system. We have implemented to call CIC0 from Seibel system. Look at FM CIC_START_FRAMEWORK for reference Or you can very well go with First option in above reply.

prince here.hope it will be fine if u may try it using workflow.may be u can set whenever the particular transaction is used it will trigger the event of opening the cic0 screen..

its a inovative thought by ur client.but needs more work..rather u can convince going along with cic0 screen..
