Hi All,

I am creating the IDOC to FILE scenerio. Business system is ready but in ID I am not able to create the communication Channel. Can anybody please help me in creating it.

Hi,

For Idoc to File scenario. If Idoc is the sender then no need for sender communication channel and no Sender Agreement also. Since,Idoc is in ABAP stack only. So, XI will retrieve the Idoc details directly with no communication channel.

You have create receiver agreement and determination and communication channel.

Just you have to trigger the Idoc in R/3 system.

HI,

According to your scenario no need business system, sender communication channel (idoc is sender) and sender agreement (idoc is sender). We can configure scenario with business service, for receiver channel take file adapter and configure channel according to your requirement

Go to Integration directory.In your scenario you can create Comm.channel based on ur scenario.

Hi,

not required for idoc sender system.

But if u r not able to do it for receiver then:

U need to assign the business sytem to that configuration scenario once u do that u will see the communication channel in the dril down of business system and right click on it and create the communication channel.

For IDoc -> File scenario : No need to create communication channel.

In this case we will trigger the Idoc from a SAP system which post the message directly into XI's Integartion engine.

Hi,

You need not create Idoc sender communication channle for your scenario. ALE settings will work fine for you to post Idoc on XI Integration Server.

Only communication channel you have to create is file receiver comm. channel.

Hi,

For Idoc--File scenario , you dont require any Sender CC and Sender agreement at all.

Just create the Receiver File CC with the Receiver Business system OR Business Service

Hi,

For IDOC there is no need for creating communication channel for sender.IDOC is directly come to IS with the help of trfc port.
