How to merge logs form other application?

Hi all,

Using Runtime Workbench, we can end-to-end monitor messages, we can raise alerts, etc. I have other applications for which error monitoring is separate. I would like to have common error monitoring system. Can anyone please suggest me how to do that?

Or any other way of providing common monitoring mechanism?

Hi,

Within SAP you could use CCMS to get data from various SAP systems and integrate it to a common location (e.g. Solution Manager). Additionally i think, that you could do something similar with the NetWeaver Administrator.

But normally there is no clean room just SAP environment and therefore integration of other systems is also necessary. I'm not sure, if that is possible in Solution Manager, but it is definitely possible in 3rd Party monitroing tools such as HP OpenView.

Hi,

I think HP Open view can be used to monitor hardware and process running? Can it be used to monitor logs, alert depending on some log values, etc?
