Hi guys,
delete job normally deletes only messages which are successful. All failed messages are marked as to be archived. But let's say, I've solved the problem in production manually - I've changed data in target system on my own. How to delete this message from SXMB MONI? Because it is not needed anymore.
Thank you,
Olian

Dear Olian,
I am very sorry to inform you that there is definitely no way to
delete manually canceled messages without prior archiving
in productive environments using SAP standard tools. This is
a restriction in order to document the violation of the EO
guarantee given once the message was accepted by the XI
Integration Server.
In productive environments the only possibility using SAP
standard tools is to lower the effort for archiving. For example
you can set XI configuration parameter
PERSIST_ARCH_MANUAL_CHANGES-ONLY_FIRST_VERSION
to 1 (see documentation included in
report RSXMB_GLOBAL_CONFIGURATION for
category 'ARCHIVE'). This setting must be done before
messages are canceled.
In non-productive environments there is the possibility to
avoid archiving of manually canceled messages. To do so the
XI configuration parameter
PERSIST_ARCH_MANUAL_CHANGES must be set to 0.
I fully understand that this does not turn out satisfactory to
you. However, knowing that deletion is not possible in the
given situation using SAP standard tools, you do not need
to spend any additional effort in searching for such a tool.

Hi,
Execute standard SAP report RSXMB_CANCEL_MESSAGES program manually or background in XI server, it will delete complete error messages in SXMB_MONI window.
Once execute program give inputs according to your requirement for messages deletion.
Alternative way
Execute SXMB_ADM and execute below statements
archive messages
delete messages
For this statement i think we need authorization from basis
