Hi all,
We changed the pegging relationship of a CTM profile from dynamic to fixed pegging. However, system still shows dynamic peggings in product view. Do you have an idea about the problem?
Thanks
Please change your pegging setting in Product master Demand tab-->pegging --> fixed pegging.
"You can activate fixed pegging for all products within a client by
setting the Fixed Pegging indicator in the global settings.
You are able to activate fixed pegging specifically for only
particular products. In this case, you set the indicator to 1 in the
product master for the products.
However, you can also specifically exclude particular products from
fixed pegging if you have activated fixed pegging at client level.
To do this, set the indicator to 2 for the relevant products."
Also regenerate your CTM master data through /SAPAPO/CTMMSEL.

Can you help us understand what is the business reason to change this to fixed pegging ? You would want to use fixed pegging only for PPDS runs and dynamic for SNP runs. Quite a few of the Location Product settings are meant for PPDS runs. eg late demand fulfilment.IN the same vein I would doubt if the setting works for you in SNP mode. Since SNP comes up with a daily level plan (and not hourly level plan), I would not be surprised that internally CTM creates plans using dynamic pegging for SNP.

Burak,
You need to update the Strategy profile in Product View...Click on "Strategy" Button on the top and the go to Go to Strategy Parameters for dependant objects and update the Pegging "Fixed Pegging : Always Consider"
