SAP NW 2004s ABAP Trial Version on Virtual Machine

Good afternoon!

I need to install SAP NW from subj on Windows Server 2003 SP2 on Virtual Machine VMWare WorkStation. VM is also installed on Windows Server 2003 SP2.

The installation of NW completes successfully but I can't start the SAP server from SAP Manegement Console. disp+work.exe doesn't start but the message server starts successfully.

What the problem can be?

dev_disp

Hi Markus,

I too am facing the same problem. I have installed Windows XP image on virtualbox on my Windows Vista laptop.

Installation was succesful however the disp+work.exe fails error was received.

How do I check the two items that you have mentioned?

I'm sorry if these queries are a bit silly, but I'd be glad to resolve this error.

Go to Drive:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGSXX\work

you 'll find these two log files..

dev_disp

dev_w0
