Transferring Dependent Demand of one product to another Product

Dear All,

I have a situation where there are two product say X & Y. X is used in PPM while Y is not used in PPM so there will not be any dependent demand for this. When planning run will happen ( in my case it is PPDS Quota Heuristic) only dependent demand will come for X. So i want that suppose 60% of the dependent demand of X gets transferred to product Y. So PR gets created for Y also without being used in PPM. Is there any way then pls suggest.

I have tried with Interchangeability but it is transferring 100% demand. I want only 60% demand to get transferred on Y.

Hi,

I think you need to have two PPM one with input X and another with Input Y.

Please do the needful and than check.

If i am including Y in PPM then there is no problem. But without including in PPM can i transfer demand.

You can use the RRP_USEX_PLORD_CREATE method of /SAPAPO/RRP_SRC_EXIT BAdI. You can find the notes with examples of implementation.
