Hi Gurus,

In my notebook already installed the SAP IDES 4.7 Version, Its working fine. Last week my notebook have problem, I change my hard disk (IDES) to another note book & install the 2003 Server. I dont know how to Up the SAP IDES in my new notebook.

Pls advise how to up the SAP IDES...

Hello. Can you explain, your disk is corrupt, you by new disk, and install new 2003 server ? If yes now you need to install your IDES server again. Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. My hard disk is good. Only the Notebook problem. I insert the hard disk in my new notebook, in drive C & D i see the Oracle and SAP files in side the hdd.

I need the steps how to up the IDES SAP in my new notebook.

or

Newly install the IDES... Pls advise.

Are you reinstall yor OS ? If yes you need to reinstall your IDES, but before backup all your SAP and ORACLE directories (datafiles ,control files and other), after you reinstall your IDES, you have a chance (if all files are good) to change your control and data files, as the homogeneus system copy procedure .... May be it works ....
