Hi,

We take an ABAP + JAVA export dump every weekend via sapinst.

Is there any way to write a script or something so that the export automatically takes place, without having to manually run sapinst & enter the same parameter values each time..

I saw last week (by accident) a note explaining how to install systems unattended, I'm sure this could be adapted to also export a system without interaction.

Unfortunately it seems, that the specific note has be pulled back, at least I can't find it now (search for inifile.xml).

I'd open a call at BC-INS and ask the support if that note will be released again.

I have seen this before, i always check sdn when a note is not published or has been "recalled". But, this is top secret :-]]]
