erroneous file storage in File adapter

is there a way where while doing FILE scenarios....let it be sender or receiver....

We have got option for processed files.....where we will store those processed files.

is there a way where we can store the error file which are not read by the interface....

HI,

On Sender file adpater side, you can store/archive the files which are processed by XI. In sender commmunication channel, select the archive mode and give the suitable loacation.

In XI, the files get archived and you can see the payloads in SXMB_MONI. the Interfaces failed have the status as red.

If the file failed to read at communication channel then file will not be archived on sender side...so the file available at sender file location.

how about receiver

Hi,

For receiver side, you will always have the payload in SXMB_MONI, as well you can re-cover that particular file from sender side...as that will be available in archived folder.

Thus you can be able to re-process those files.
