Early Watch on ABAP only and JAVA only Systems

Hi ALL

Recently I came across this Input from the search on the net :

"Solution Manager Diagnostics is installed in the Solution Manager JAVA stack. It collects data from all monitored non-ABAP systems, centrally. The ABAP stack is used to generate the EarlyWatch reports."

So, to Setup Early Watch Alert on ABAP Only Systems does it need any special config ? What if I have only ABAP Single Stack

and Java Single Stack ( Portal ) Systems ? The above input is also not in tune with content on help.sap.com !!!

Any / ALL Help is highly appreciated.

I don´t see an ambiguity here

To set up EWA for ABAP components follow the standard IMG (SPRO). To set up EWA for Java you need to configure Solution Manager Diagnostics and install an agent on the Java machine (see http://service.sap.com/diagnostics)
