Hi All,

I am trying to create the SLD where I need to fill the message server port number and Application Server number in the TECHNICAL SYSTEM space. It's for WEB AS ABAP.

Can anybody tell how to find both the numbers?

Hi,

In R/3 goto SMMS and there by you will find out the Message Server Port

Place the cursor on the correct Server name and Goto---Display Details

Check the nservno Value as Message Server

you have to do OS login on server and i don't think you would be having Login credentials for OS Login

so iwould suggust us SMMS transaction as suggusted by sheshgiri OR

Generally message Port is 36<client no> or 39<client no.>

Thanks

Hi Shagiri,

When I run the SMMS I get a long list of details which contains:

NSERVNO: 3202.

Protocol : MS_LOGON_DIAG

Port: 3202

Protocol : MS_LOGON_RFC

Port: 3302

Protocol : MS_LOGON_HTTP

Port: 8002

and many more.

All in that its showing very confusious details thus not able to determine the correct one. I may use the 36<system-no> but still not able to find the Application Server.

Please reply.

Hi,

Also you can find out the Message Server Number as 36xx wher xx is the Instance Number.

You can Find the Instance Number from the SAP Logonpad also

By this you will be able to find out the Message Server Port and the Instance Number for Application Server
