Problem IN SLD configuration!

Hi experts,

while trying to create a technical system in SLD, I am facing this error in step 2 and at the 6th step.

1. In step 2, when i am puttng the value of

Web AS ABAP Name (SID): DTR ,

it was giving an error, "System already exists"......I would like to know where can I remove this if already existing system, I have already checked the existing sld -- Technical, and business, components and party , but no where can i see the DTR already existing.

2. The nest prob, if i make

Web AS ABAP Name (SID): XXX ,in the 6th step, it is giving an error as :

CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS: Instance already exists: SAP_BCSystem.CreationClassName="SAP_BCSystem",Name="XXX.SystemNumber.0020215361.SystemHome.isrdev"

How to solve this!!

Pls suggest, probable reason for mistake.

Hi,

To Delete the Business System From SLD Completly means,

Goto SLD->Administration>>Content Maintenance

Select Subset As--->>All Clasess

Select Class As --->>Business System

Then It Will Display All The Business Systems Those Are In the SLD.

Then You Can Select that BS And Say Remove. It Will Remove That BS From SLD.

Hi,

What version of XI are you on? What SP level? Check the version / SP level mentioned on the guide as well.

The column 'name' should appear. Are you in the SLD? You might first need to select techniscal system type 'WebAS ABAP' before you actually see any systems listed.

I think UR J2EE server patch level is SP9.

do u read the SLD configuration document carefully?

look at sap note 669669. and import the CR Content according to that. this solves ur issue.

Hi Arnab,

Both the errors are due to existing techincal system.

In SLD select technical system and then filter on WEB AS ABAP.

The technical system will be with name DTR on ____

Select the checkbox in front of that and then choose remove button.

HI,

This problem is related to reconfiguration. Your using system ID is already assigned to some technical system check with existing one or remove old one or reuse old one. Your problem will sort out

Goto SLD -> Administration -> Content Maintenance -> Select the following Subset -> All classes, Class -> BCSystem. then delete SAP_BCSystem. Then retry.
