You can install it on Windows XP without any problems irrespective of what the others say. I have it on my computer too. When you see the warnings just click cancel so that the checks are not carried out again instead of Ok and you are fine.
If your 90 days are up, you do not need to format your system to install it again. That's crazy. In case you need to use it again, just uninstall before the 90 days are up and delete the dbtech key under SAP in the registry. Then install the software again. It works fine on my computer.

Hi mike macoul,
You mean to say it is Java Stack ( As Java ) . You can only install the As Java when u have Server OS that is Windows 2003 Server. Once u installed you can try.
XP Operating System is not supported for installing the SAP applications except they are Client applications.
Thanks

Hi,
Yes J2EE engine can be installed on Windows os ,
If you want the J2ee engine for Local development then You can install Developers WorkSpace installation for the NW04s,i am not sure about the Latest version, might be it is Sp14.
And i hink 2 GB will do the work for Local Development Purpose.
