Moving SAP Install to Cluster File System - For Oracle RAC

Hi All,

One of the requirements, in addition to a shared ORACLE_HOME, for a RAC deployment is that the SAP binaries should reside on a cluster file system.

Now we already have a SAP installation and will be converting the database to use RAC, how would we go about moving the SAP binaries to the cluster file system? Would we need to copy them over or install the SAP binaries again?

Hi Badar,

you only need to copy SAP binaries to the shared cluster file system

do you know RAC for SAP white papers?
