Hi Gurus,
What is the difference between Billing and Invoice,
Regards,
SAILJA.
Dear adusupally sailaja
Billing is very generic terms. In SAP all the document through which customer's accounts updated called billing document
Invoice is a specific term which is used for Sales.
e.g Credit memo, Debit memo, Invoices are types billing document

Both are same. There is no difference between these two. Some will call billing and some will call as invoice. In fact, in some places, they will refer their sales as billing. That is when two people discuss about their sales, one might ask what is your billing, which is nothing but sales.
