the runtime version of active models is generated automatically when you activate or deactivate one of your models. In fact the runtime version stored in table CIF_IMAX is an optimized copy of the orignal table CIF_IMOD which stores also the active models.
So the target system for each object type can be identified significant faster with the runtime version.
It's recommended to reconcile the runtime version with the original database version at regular intervals. If you detect inconsistencies, you can generate the runtime version again to correct them. If you find inconsistencies again and again, you should open an OSS message.
