Item has no open quantity - Check fixed quantity ID

Hi ,

While creating the order i got this massage . "Item has no open quantity - Check fixed quantity ID "

and the line item is not having any Confirmed quantity . So the system is not allowing to do delivery .

Though the schedule line of that perticular item is "CN" . and item category "BVN "(As it is a cash sale ).

Where is the Fixed quantity indicator .

Can you please help what is the problem.

Hi there,

When the system throws an error"item hasno open quantity" it could be that your sale order is referenced from a quotation. Check in VOV8 if your order is referenced with any other doc. IF it is referenced, then create the preceeding doc like quotation & then create the order.

Hi Abhijit usually Cash Sale has a one time delivery and if material is not available as on the Requested Delivery Date the message will come.

once check ur req.del.date and see avalibality date of item if material is not avail on ur req,del,date that pop up message will arise.

If you are trying to deliver today then perhaps check your factory calender. Saturday must be a holiday in that. Use the selection date as monday and it will allow if thats the case.

Otherwise if you have saturday as working day, then check your stock.

If thats also not a problem check product allocation if there is any. I don't think this could be your problem.

Again check your av check and TOR config as well and if there is any block at delivery level. \
