scrap storage location during USAGE DECISION

hI...

I have one finish material with QM view , after prodcution of 10 quanitity, lot has been created , BNow during usage decision out of 10 i had 8 number ok and 2 are scrap .

but in the inspection lot tab..i am not getting scrap storage loaction for 2 scrap quantity.

how to get the stoareg location tab thre ..so that i can see my scrap quanitity in that stoareg location.

Hi

If u are scrapping it and want to see in stock, u must have a different material code for that. So while making the decision as scrap , u will have to enter the qty of scrap in "To new material field" to transfer. There u also can enter the storage location. It will reflect in MMBE.

Simpy by entering a value in the scrap field, u cannot maintain inventory.

You may see it tcode MB51.

Here enter the movement type 553 (scrap) & execute.

The left column is your storage location.

You can also get the total scrap quantity for starage location by selecting the 'Quantity in UnE" column & pressing 'Summation' (Shift + F7) button.
