Dear Jami,
you may do the following three things in your XI :
1) Map your Plant code or what ever field you have with SNDPRN of EDIDC_40 of your IDOC in message mapping of your IR.
2) Do the following cofiguration in Receiver agreement of ID (sender party) :/IDOC NAME /IDOC/EDI_DC40/SNDPRN
and in Constant mention : ALE#KU
3) In idoc adapter put a click on control record checkbox.
If you have any queries please let me know

Prabhat

Hi,
You wrote,
that use Partnertyp KU and Partnernumber instead of LS
To avoid LS: /people/sravya.talanki2/blog/2005/12/02/manipulating-idoc-control-records-from-payload
Patrner KU: Use header mapping
"For sending idocs from XI, you have to set the Header mapping (sender and receiver) in the receiver agreement. You have to specify the schema as ALE#KU. So there should be an option for sending idocs to XI, in a similar way." -- From thread,
hope this helps,
Anirban.
