Hello Experts,
I have newly installed Solamon 7.
we are trying to configure Ewa alert..
If go to Solution Landscape - >Solution Landscape Maintenance - Solution stucture -> Mobilephone Incl -> Solution settings -> "Setup EWA" icon is missing..
I could see only buttons like
CCMS Monitoring EWA
COPY options and Set languages.
only Setup EWA is missing..
It it possible to get the Setup EWA icon.
my solman vertion is 7.
PLease tell me how to get the Setup EWA button ?

Hi Thiru,
The location for EWA Setup has changed.
Open the Solution Landscape. Choose Operations Setup: Solution Monitoring -> EarlyWatch Alert
There, you will find EarlyWatch Alert Setup (or similar)

Thank you very much.. I got it (earlier i was confused with Icon.)
I followed the simulator tool to setup earlywatch part. now Ewa alert not generating..
Open the Solution Landscape. Choose Operations Setup: Solution Monitoring -> when i click EarlyWatch Alert
It opens a below pop up window like

When i click logon button its prompt me to enter the user id and pwd.
1.Please suggest me which password should i enter or i have to any other configuration?.
2.I guess this is because of FQDN issue. please give an idea to get Full qulaified domain name for mt server ( Which i have to include my profile). ??.

Just restarted my server, just i got Operation setup - Setup Early watch alert - I clicked the Earlywatc alert its gives the below error message.

What can I do?

If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server hq520sap2_SM1_00 in transaction SM21.
If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 0 in transaction ST11 on the application server hq520sap2_SM1_00 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.
