Hello,
I've installed TREX on my PI host for test purposes but http server is not working.
From the TREXAdministration, I try to restart the http service and get this error:
***
Restarting the http service finished:
iisreset.exe
Access denied, you must be an administrator of the remote computer to use this
command. Either have your accound added to the administrator local group of
the remote computer or to the domain adminitrator global group.
***
And in the RWB, PI cannot see the TREX, although I did necessary configurations.
Is there any way to get it working?
Thanks,
Gökhan

I'm using a x64 system so I applied note 1008299 and executed the following command:
***
1. Open a command prompt and navigate to the %systemdrive%InetPubAdminScripts directory
2. Execute the following command:
"cscript.exe adsutil. vbs set W3SVC/AppPools/Enable32BitAppOnWin64 True"
3. Do an iisreset.

Is there any way that I can make sure my ISS is now 32bit enabled?
My http server is still down. I also gave necessary folder permissions to users.
What else is there to check?
Thanks,
Gökhan
Edit: I have a PI 7.0 system on Windows Server 2003 and also TREX is 7.0
In the nameserver trace, I can see the HTTP response for the http server:
"not a valid win32 application"
TREX 7.0 has one installation dvd and it contains both 32bit and 64bit versions for windows.
As I also configured my ISS for using 32 bit, why am I still getting this error? I guess this
is the root cause for the http server not starting.
Please help, thanks.
