Hi All,

I am trying to upload sync files for data carrier synchronization.

But I don't know what kind of files are these??

I am trying to uplaod .sync file which lies under MI->sync folder,

but on doing so NWA is throwing an error message saying its not a sync file.

Please tell me from where can I get sync files to upload on NWA.

Thanks & Regards,

Abhivyakti

Hi Abhivyakti

The files present under the Sync folder does not constitute files for data carrier synchronization(DCS). Inorder to perform DCS you first need to configure the client by adding the parameters given in this [link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/43/5d291728616e47e10000000a422035/frameset.htm]. Once this is done you need to have atleast one application installed on the client inorder to perform DCS. Once these are done, you will get a new Disc Sync button on the MI home page and in here you will have to mention the target directory where your disc sync files will be copied on to (the file extension will be .mis). These will be files that you will have to upload in NWA.
