Dera All,
My client wants to customize LIS .i have no idea about LIS.
Any one can tell me something about customization?
Regards
You should definitely use some kind of formatting.
What i'm interested in is if i add a new datafield in infostructure, will i be able to use that data from the time the infostructure is vreated or time i added the specific field to it?

Scenario : The company has 13 period in the calendar, now they want to upgrade to new version of SAP ,and there will be a change to the calendar year, which should have 12 periods. What happens to the sales information system, analysis based on week or month, will the sale information system will update the past data.
Step 1. go to T.Code: OMO1
The information structure S999 has period week and updating type is synchronous updating.
Step 2 : create the sales order. T.code: va01
Save the sales order, the net value is 5000.
Step 3. Run the information structure : T.Code: MCSI
Step 4: now change the period in T.Code:OMO1
Now when u change it the period the info structure say that the contains data is lost
Say yes
Save it
Step 5. create a sales order. The SAP always store the value in the 000 VERSION
T.CODE: VA01, and save it
Step 6: now again run the info structure T.Code.MCSI.
Step 7: now go for T.CODE. ovi7
Generate and save :
Step 8: again go for T.CODE:OMO1 and change the period from month to week
Initially the SIS will update the structure with the created value ie 15000, now u change that again into week because the SIS will delete and rerun the past data.
Step 9: again go for oli7 and update the info structure
Ster:10 Run the information structure : MCSI
thanks
Kuntla
