in IDOC Scenarios we could do setting in R3 and XI but in case of RFC we cant do any thing .What is reason for this

Hi,
If you take the RFC in case of sender means we have to create the RFC in SM59 of R/3 and the Program ID.And we have to maintain the same Program ID in the Sender CC also.
In case of Receiver RFC means we have the Provision tomention the details of R/3 server inorder to connect to that and post the data
In one word we can say like the Adapters are having their own functionality

Hi,
For RFC, we used to maintain the RFC destination. RFC adapter is based on Java Stack so you need to give all the input parameters under the communciation channel.
