SAPNSP_00: ERROR_BAD_NETPATH

Hi,

my NW2004s sneak preview installation on a notebook worked fine till yesterday when I connected first time to a customer's network. Since then I get the following error

"Unable to change to Directory

nbkgsaplocNSPDVEBMGS00work (Error 53 ERROR_BAD_NETPATH: The network path was not found.) (ntserstart.spp 884)

I deleted and installed the loopback adapter -> no change

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me.

Disconnected from the customers' network. Reboot. Does it work now?

Dear Rich,

thanks for your hint but it still doesn't work. It seems connecting the first time to another network something changed automatically. Unfortunately I am not familiar with network problems.

It seems that the system can't reach the C:\usr\sap folder which it wants to access as "
<your_pc_name\saploc"

Can you reach the stated path

"
nbkg\saploc\..."

directly when you enter "
nbkg" in Start->Run...?

Maybe while beeing connected to the network the "user\sap" folder settings have been changed. It should work again when you share the "usr\sap" folder again as "saploc".
