SAPGUI 710 Unable to Connect to Solution manager System

Hi Gurus

I have successfully installed Solution manger 7.0 on SuSe Linux 10/ oracle 10 64 bit. Now i have issue to connect from SAPGUI710 from windows system.

If any body face this kind of issue please share with me the solution.

You never said wht is the problem you are facing.

How come we know what error you are getting, without you mention that?

Hi

I have installed Solution manger7.0 on SuSE Linux/oracle10 64 bit.

I encountered with error when i am trying to connect Solution manger through GUI710 on WindowsXP Desktop.

Error:

Partner 00.00.00.00 sapdp00 not reached

WSAWOULDBLOCK: Resource Temporarily unavailable.

I have check SAP Instance is Up and Running.

I tried with Firewall off in Both SuSE linux and XP.

Samba server is active and available in Linux.

Please advise If any body have solution.

Hi,

Please enter following entry in the host file of your windows system from where you want to connect.

File name : C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Make below entry at the end of file

<IP of SOLMAN> <HOSTNAME of SOLMAN>

what did you enter in the "applicationserver" field in the GUI entry? This IP seems pretty bogus to me...
