INSPECTION PLAN Quality management

Hi,

Inspection characteristics are assigned to an operation in a inspection plan (QP01/QP02)

IN characterestics overview for a given operation,

1. For few characterestics ONLY "short text insp.char" is seen with specification values(upper limit or lower limit etc), and no values in master inspection characteristic andplant field.

2. For few characterestics, the field master inspn.characterestics, plant, verstion etc all are entered. I am clear with this kind of assingment of inspn characteristics to an operatin/task.

Could you please clarify how the assignment as per point number 1 can be done?
