Adding a New Partner Function to existing?

Hi

I want to add a partner function Sales employee/ Sales officer to track the sales through the employee What are steps/configuration needed to achieve the same?

Detailed points would be appreciated

Hi Rajiv...

For this you may have to create a partner funciton "Sales Employee/Sales Officer" (Think that you have not created the parnter funcitions and the related configurations,assignments)

Follow the path IMG-Sales and Distribution-Basic Function-Parnter determination-Set up Ptnr detrmn

1.Create the partner funciton

2.Assign the parnter funciton to your partner procedure

3.Assign the partner function to your Account group.

4.Check all the above 3 steps with sales doucment header

5.Check all the above steps with Delivery

6.Check all the above steps with Billing header

Now go to XD02 and for your customer go to Sales Area-Partner funcitons tab and enter your partner function.

Create patner function for sales employee and add the patner function in partner procedure as same as other mandatory functions like SP/BP/SH/PY, but put this sales employess as opitional so that you can add manulally depends on the customers.

aftre this goto XD02 and add manulaly sales employee in patners tab page.
