Hi!
I can open Repository and Directory on the local machine but not via Internet. I get following message:
com.sap.engine.services.rmi_p4.P4IOException: Cannot open connection on host: 213.240.190.66 and port: 50004
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

I have checked firewall settings. They are OK. Please give me some suggestions.
Thanks
Christian
On the SAP Support Portal you will find a great document on SAP-BPC Authentication Model. This document explains how authentication works within BPC and may assist you with your issue.

Hi Christian,
Are you really sure the firewall settings are OK?
Try doing a telnet to host 213.240.190.66 and port 50004 via CMD (in case of Windows). If you don't get any response then IR and ID are not able to reach that port and you'll need to check your settings.
Best Regards,
Eumir
