MIC not releasing

hi all

While assigning MIC's during plan creation the following error occurs, what could be the possible reason????

The current valid version of FRFMX.25 is not released

Message no. QP480

Diagnosis

You have assigned an historic version (version was changed with history in the meantime), although the current version is not released.

There are more than one options to resolve this. But the best one I am representing here is If you have created the new version already then go to trx CWBQM and replace it in mass.

You have situation if you using ECM for inspection plan,

if date of change number (valid from) is in the past of date when inspection characteristic is created.

You have two versions of the MIC available.

MIC version 1 is released and available.

MIC version 2 is not released but has a key date in the past so the system thinks is should be using version 2.

To resolve this, use QS23 to edit MIC version 2 and change the status to released. Then from here on out, version 2 will be the active version.

You may want to replace version 1 with version 2 in existing plans using QS27.
