Display range for order

Hi,

I have a scenario like this.

My client is entering materials in order like :

1 - Red Pen

2 - Blue Pen

3 - Black Pen and so onnn...

But late he wants wnenever he sees the order later on in VA03

the screen should always show

Black Pen - 1St

Red Pen - 2Nd

Blue Pen - 3 Rd

Meaning he can input order in any sequence but when he sees the order it shold be only in the one standard sequence

Can anybody give any inputs on this

Hello,

In standard SAP the system will not show according to 1st, 2nd, 3rd .....etc.... but it shows according to the line item number. Check with your ABAP expert whether he can analyse the same and propose some suggestion.

Hi,

I suggest you to create a new report (ZVA03) to see sales order (with header data) with your own presentation for items (with your own logical).

yes i want to display the materials in VA03 as per the strategy of the client regardless of how they input in VA01

Can i create the "Dispaly Range" of VOV8 for this will this work??

Hi,

This is technical customization part.

You can ask your Technical Consultant to add an user exit at time to VA03 tcode.

This user exit will sort the items in the order you have mentioned.
