Project stock

Hi all,

How to procure Project materials and keep it store for future use. The moment i do GR, quantity is consumed.

So, which Item category & Account assignmnet i should use to have stock in store.

Do i have to WBS element ?

Account assignment 'Q' to be selected in PO for stocking the material for Project.

Check Tcode : OME9 to find the difference between A/c assignment 'P' and 'Q'.

If you select 'Q' at the time of GR, it get posted to stock material a/c and update stocks of material against the project.

If you issue the same with mvt 221, it will post the GI doc. posted with value to project purchased not Moving avg price.

Use account assignmnet Q to keep in stock. You must be using P where it gets consumed.

Hi

Create a matl with MRp views.. Ask your PS consultant to assign the matl to an WBS element. Run MRP to create PR. Then do PO with acct assignment Q then do MIGO 101 Q. In all PO n MIGO the WBS element will come automatically. After GR u can see the stock in MMBE as Project Stock.
