Hi experts,

We have requirements is like,

My client having SAP R/3 for their core business and for finance they are using third party applications.

In core SAP we have HR/MM/SD modules.

Now we have 2nd phase of implementation with Core SAP modules and finance.

Now I am preparing P.O.C Please help out what are the possible business scenarios and possible cases.

Please help me.....friends

u will be having scenarios using theses adapters IDOC, RFC and XI (proxy).

Hi,

With SAP to inface with 3rd party applications you may go for IDOCs, RFCs or for Proxy

1. For Async processing you can go for IDOCs...if any standard IDOCs are getting generated in R/3

2. RFCs can be used in synchronous way where you can get the response back.

(Note : RFC can be treated in async way also by not giving the export parameters)

3. Proxies can be used with Sync as well as Async way. Its allowable to use from WebAS 6.4 onwards only.
