Hi,
Is it possible to receive two different files in one BPM??
In our scenario we have to receive two files. We used two "ReceiveSteps".First Receive step is asking only for one interface. But the second recive step is asking for an interface as well a correlator. We are not understanding the need for a correlator??
Can anyone help
Thanks in Advance
Hi chemmanz,
BPM will ask for a corelation ,but it doesnt matter if it is a valid correlation or not. Just give a dummy correlation and it will work fine.

Hi,
You can also use a Fork step and receive those two different interfaces. But correlation is must.....If u are receiving more than one interface to best of my knowledge correlation is necessary.

Hi,
The correlator is used to relate the two messages coming in.
Else how will XI know to send the message to the already active BPM instance, or to start a new BPM instance.
So the first message being received triggers a correlation that the next message has to fulfill.

Hi,
Here correlation is asked because there should be some criteria to route the two different file data to different interfaces. You can mention this based on some record value which is constant and might be unique for each file.
