Section 1: Logging on to UME

1.Enter the following html address: http://<host_name>:5<instance number>00/

2.Click User Management.

3.Log on using your training ID and password.

Section 2: How to Create a User

1.Log on to UME. For instructions, refer to u201CSection 1: Logging on to UME.u201D

2.Click Create User to access the Create User screen.

3.Enter data in the following required fields:

􀂃User ID

􀂃Define Password

􀂃Confirm Password

􀂃Last Name

􀂃First Name

􀂃E-Mail Address

4.Maintain other data as necessary.

5.Click Create.

2.Click Roles to access the Create/Maintain Roles screen.

3.Click Create/New to access the Create a new role screen.

4.Type Role Name.

5.Type Description.

6.Select one or more actions from Available Actions.

7.Click Add to add Actions to Selected Actions.

8.Click Save.

Section 4: How to Assign Users to a Role

1.Log on to UME. For instructions, refer to u201CLogging on to UME.u201D

2.Click Roles to access the Create/Maintain Roles screen.

3.Enter search criteria in the New Search field, and then click Search.

You can use a wildcard (*) to search for Roles.

4.Select one ore more Roles to which you will assign users, and then click Assign Users tou2026.

The system displays all users assigned to the role.

5.Click to access the Search for User screen.

6.Enter search criteria.

7.Click Search to access the Search Result(s) screen.

8.Select the user to assign.

9.Click Select to assign user and return to Assign User(s) screen.

All users assigned to the Role are displayed. Ensure that the user id that you selected is shown.

10.Click Continue to return to the Create/Maintain Roles screen.

The latest version is PI7.1, you will get the Installation guide from SAP service Market place. which will have all details about Installation Procedue, Pre-requisites, Guidelines.
