Hi,
I am getting the error "Memory protection fault in OLE container control" while trying to open the layout tab of adobe forms.
I am getting this error for all the adobe forms. Please let me know the solution.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Nuthan.
close the SAP login pad and restart the system. if the problem still there, Uninstall the Designer and SAP GUI and Reinstall once and check it. This problems i faced once. i m not sure of the technical reasons why it is happening, But also i used to get another error some times when i navigate to layout.

I can reproduce this error consistently.. This is how: Install Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
As soon as I remove SQL 2008 the error went away. Adobe LiveCycle Designer was invoked via OLE2 interface. Apparently SQL Server 2008 (as in my case or some other applications in your case) modified the way OLE2 behaves and therefore causes this error.
Hi,
The solution that worked for me was:
Using the Registry Editor, Windows + R regedit, rename the Adobe Designer branch in the registry to something different.
For example I changed: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Designer\11.0
to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Designer\11.0_old
When i reopened the layout tab it was working perfectly fine.
Thanks.
