Hello All,
I have a sales order with order quantity as 9, what if I want the system to automatically round it upto 10, for example? How can I configure this? Is it that If I define the material with base unit of measure as EA and Sales Unit as PA(packet for ex.) and define the conversion in MMR as 1PA = 10 EA--the system will automatically round it off to 10 or the system will take the ordered qty as 10*9 = 90 EA?
How can I configure the automatic round up/round down?
Faster responses will be highly appreciated.
Rgds,
Rags.
Hi,
In the sales order, the unit is taken as sales unit. Hence, if you give 9, then system will take 9*10 as the quantity.
Rounding up or down is usually possible only with pricing (and other condition types). There is a way to maintain percentage rounding up for Unit of Measure.
IMG Settings -> Logistics General -> Quantity Optimising and Allowed Logistics Units of Measure -> Unit of Measure Rounding Rules.
Try setting this for your unit of measure, it might help.
Cheers.
