How a technical consultant make a career in NetWeaver

I want to enter into SAP NetWeaver. I don't know about the details of NetWeaver. what it is, and how can a technical consultant can suite this area of SAP. can any body give suggestions.

I am Ramana from deloitte. I am Java/J2EE Developer. I worked on SAP CRM ISA, IPC and a bit ABAP(BSP/OOPS). I am good in webservices also. So what else I need to learn to become a netweaver specialist.

Can please provide me information how to install and run applications in netweaver. please do let me know what are all software components I have to install to work in netweaver. Is it feasible to install and work netweaver without SAP systems ( R3/CRM/BW/APO/SCM ).
