Dear Friends,

We are doing the scenario SAP ERP ==> XI ==> SAP POS. This is IDoc to File scenario. The file is picked from FTP site by receiver(where the Triversity server pick ascii files).

Here problem is after picking the file, data is not inserted, updated, deleted in the Customer Profile table of Triversity Store Manager. (We follow the Technical Reference Guide for creating files).

Regards,

Jagan.

Hi

This problem occurs due to mandatory fields of customer.

if a field is mandatory and you're not passing any value...the file created on ftp will skip that field and asc file will not upload in customer store manager...

use IF-ELSE condition in mapping for mandatory fields...

if value exits ..pass the value...else pass blank...

Hope this will help...

Dear Abhijit,

In Technical Reference they mentioned "Update Type" field only mandatory. Even after passing values to all fields, it hasn't update data in DB.

Dear Friends,

In mapping we have to use if-else condition for all fields. We have to pass blank constant if no data for that field. This is applied for all fields. Even though Customer Number and Updtate type fields only mandatory, the target file should contain minimun 46 commas. That is customer table may contains 47 fields. We do the FCC in receiver adapter and create the file successfully. The file is picked and updated by SAP POS system.

Thanks for your valuable suggestions friends...

Jagan.

Just want to give a hint...

use mapwithDefault value function rather than if then else..

makes little easy.:)

Or, even more easily, he could just set the fields as mandatory (min Occurrence = 1) in the data type.

HI experts ,

After integration of SAP retail and SAP POS, we are receiving file from PI for e.g DEPTTXN.asc (below) ,

As according to DEPTTXN.ASC file format update type ,department, department group ,description should be of Decimal 2.0,decimal4.0, decimal 3.0 and string 20 respectively,

But we are receiving data in below mentioned format ,because of that when we are posting this file to Xpress sever-> parm folder to view its data in Store manager we are not

able see all the details of DEPTTXN.asc ,only price point details with the linked category and department are shown there. We are facing same difficulties with other two files also.

Do we have to do some modification in PI for the naming of department and department group?

It will be great help ,if you can guide us to solve this particular issue.

HI,

Check the File Encoding format ...it is in readable format for Customer Profile table of Triversity Store Manager.

May be Text encoding format be the problem or...check if you are processing the file after completion of whole XI transcation to put file on FTP.

Thanks

Dear Swarup,

Actually we did the scenario and file is coming correctly. For Vendor scenario it is working correctly. Even we are putting file manually it hasn't work. The structure differ from Customer Table in DB and it mentioned in Technical Reference. The fields are not in order while comparing both, and mandatory fields are not mentioned in Technical Reference.

Regards,

Jagan.
