Cant see the Alert Log from ST04

Hi All,

We have upgraded Oracle from 9i to 10g and one common thing which i see in all the systems is we cannot view the alert log from ST04..if i go to Detail analysis menu and click on Database message log and alerts it comes back with a Dump

ABAP runtime errors DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR

Occurred on 08/19/2008 at 16:16:19

Do we need to do anything in order to rectify this.. Has anyone else faced this kind of issue???

Hi,

The SAP Note that has been provided is for DB12 and i can see all the logs from DB12 but the issue which i have is for ST04 .

Hi Samrat ...

These are the details of the System ..

SAP Version 4.6 C

Oracle DB - 10.2.0.2

SAP Kernel - 46D Patch Level 2384

and apart from this i have couple of systems running on SAP Version 640 and DB is 10.2.0.2 Kernel Patch level is 221 .

After the upgrade Kernel has been patched to the latest level on all the systems... This is a common phenomena in all the systems that we have upgraded irrespective of the SAP and Kernel Release ...

what is you sap version and patch level?

did you upgraded sap kernal to match oracle10g?

you need to maintain SAP patch and kernel patch par with oracle 10g
